Team Facilitation

Some teams need a few focused hours, others need a full day, to work through something specific — a pattern of conflict, a trust gap, or a skillset that’s ripe for further development.

Some teams simply want the most meaningful, memorable team workout they’ve ever had.

These tailor-made sessions build shared language and skills fast, often using the Enneagram, lessons from leaders in organizational psychology, trust, vulnerability, team dysfunction, and many other proven tools. The experience moves beyond theoretical to immersive and embodied.

Here are a few recent examples.

  • Authentic leadership up, across, and down

  • Build trust and grow!

  • The new and improved consulting mindset

  • Foundations of the Enneagram (includes team profiles)

Some facilitation work is cohort-based to support a career stage or transformation event, such as:

  • Rising leaders 1 for first-time managers

  • Rising leaders 2 for High Potential individuals

  • Cresting leaders going from Great to Legacy

  • Leaders on special projects (M&A events, op model shifts, and other strategic transformations)

Having facilitated a significant number of teams ranging in size from 3 to 300 in my 25 years as a strategy consultant, I’m a firm believer in proactive coaching for alignment, trust, and transparency during key transitions.

Teams strengthen only when they are appropriately nurtured. Like any garden, there are times for active care and times for restful integration. Both are required for healthy growth. I am adept at determining which stage of growth a team is in, spotting the strengths and blind spots, and teaching the skills necessary to grow genuinely – and triage where appropriate.

Team facilitation is often accompanied by individual coaching for team or cohort members.

Let’s Talk.

Whether you’re ready to begin or still working out what you need, a short note is enough to start. I read every one myself, and I’ll get back to you personally.
